Born and raised in Wellington, the winter equestrian capital of the world, as a Florida native, horses are a ubiquitous sight. Surrounded by horses, there is no escaping the urge to ride one. From the moment I started riding and formed a bond with my first horse, Duchess, I realized that the child within me was drawn to a career in the equestrian industry.
When college approached, I applied to Mississippi State University with Art as my primary major, focusing on photography. I looked forward to my courses starting in the fall of 2011. However, at the beginning of the year, I switched my major to undeclared to explore my options further, as I was influenced by opinions suggesting that there were no promising career prospects in Art or Photography.
Fast forward to graduation, I obtained a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Sciences in Kinesiology, Psychology, and Business Administration from Mississippi State in 2016.
After finishing my studies, I secured an internship and later a position at Equestrian Sport Productions during the Winter Equestrian Festival and Adequan Global Dressage Festival, focusing on sponsor relations. I had the opportunity to learn from my colleagues in the marketing and events departments. I strongly believe that there is a growing need for photography and content creation to enhance industry visibility in today’s digital age.
Looking ahead, I have made the decision to establish NBMedia, LLC. My goal is to offer guidance and bridge the gap in creating content that promotes industries and fosters global connections through my creative perspective in the media landscape.
